Polyphenols are widely known for their putative antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects and their potential protective role in several diseases such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and cancer. Find out more about the current evidence surrounding the role of polyphenols in obesity and weight management and how useful these agents may be in combatting obesity in an umbrella review published in Nutrition Bulletin.
